Our Story: From Podiatrists, For Podiatrists
ISG Billing & Revenue Cycle Solutions isn't your typical medical billing company. Our story began not in a corporate office, but within the walls of podiatry practices just like yours. We were founded in Concord, NC by a group of podiatrists who were frustrated with the status quo. We understood the unique challenges of our specialty, the specific codes, the denial headaches, and the constant battle to get paid for the work we do.
We knew we there had to be a better way; a billing experience that was professional, proactive and truly on your side.
A Proven Model, Perfected Over Time
Our first mission was to create a premier, "white-glove" billing service for the dozens of private practices within the InStride network across North and South Carolina. For years, we've dedicated ourselves to perfecting our craft. We've fine-tuned every process, from claim submission to aggressive denial management, all while operating with a team of 100% US-based billers who are experts in podiatry.
This exclusive focus has allowed us to develop a level of expertise and efficiency that is unmatched in the industry.

MEET OUR TEAM
Jennifer Tonks
Jennifer joined the InStride in 2014 with a background that included sixteen years of leadership in business administration, payroll, accounts payables, receivables, sales, service and onsite training in construction and industrial equipment manufacturing. Her now twelve-year journey with InStride began with payer correspondence, insurance financial funds distribution and financial reconciliation. Throughout her tenure, she has incorporated overseeing and implementing processes for banking, billing, revenue cycle management, ancillary income, HIPAA and Compliance, MIPS administration, EMR implementation and Pathology procedures, as well as providing oversight to credentialing and centralized accounting.
Melinda Hefti
Melinda joined InStride in 2022 and leads our team as the Billing Manager. She has thirty-three years of Podiatry billing, denial management, AR and payer management experience. With a firm background in Podiatry medical office administration, she leads and trains our dedicated team of billers, assists clients with coding and documentation requirements, tracks payer trends and provides up to date payer guidelines.
